Investing.com -- EssilorLuxottica reported an acceleration in revenue growth in the final quarter of 2025, helping lift its American depositary receipts 10% following the release.
The company said fourth-quarter revenue rose 18.4% at constant exchange rates to €7.6 billion, contributing to an 11.2% increase for the full year to €28.49 billion.
The eyewear and medtech group said all major regions, North America, EMEA and Asia-Pacific, delivered double-digit revenue growth in both the quarter and the full year. North America led the quarterly performance, rising nearly 24% at constant exchange rates.
The company highlighted continued momentum in its AI-glasses category, developed with Meta, with more than 7 million units sold in 2025.
EssilorLuxottica also cited strong demand for its myopia-management portfolio, which grew 22% globally, and an encouraging first year for its Nuance Audio hearing-aid glasses, now available in 12 markets and 15,000 locations.
Adjusted operating margin for the year was 16.0% at constant exchange rates, which the company said reflected the impact of U.S. tariffs and the growing contribution of AI-glasses. Free cash flow reached a record €2.8 billion, up €400 million from 2024.
Chairman and CEO Francesco Milleri and Deputy CEO Paul du Saillant said the results marked “a historic milestone,” citing “annual double-digit sales growth at constant currency” and “another record quarter in Q4.”
They added that momentum across regions and business lines “confirms the strength and relevance of our vision.”
The board proposed a €4.00 dividend with a scrip option and said its updated five-year outlook targets solid revenue growth aligned with adjusted operating profit expansion.
