Meta will increase deployment of Nvidia's Grace CPUs, marking what Nvidia described as the first large-scale Grace-only rollout. The companies are also preparing for future adoption of Nvidia's Vera CPUs, expected to scale beginning next year.

Under the agreement, Meta will deploy Nvidia's GB300 systems and expand use of Spectrum-X Ethernet networking to improve data throughput and efficiency. Meta has also adopted Nvidia's Confidential Computing technology to enhance AI capabilities in services such as WhatsApp while maintaining user privacy protections.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said the partnership reflects deep collaboration across CPUs, GPUs, networking and software to support Meta's AI research and large-scale personalization systems. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said the companies are building advanced clusters using Nvidia's Vera Rubin platform to support long-term AI ambitions.

Shares of Nvidia rose about 1.8% in extended trading, while Meta gained roughly 1.5% following the announcement.
